Type: Mutant

Summary: We've seen diverse animals run amok. But what if it were because of something even more vile? Something that could...wake the dead, per se? Thus, you have the zombie treatment on most of the animal kingdom.
History: At the Eden Wildlife Zoo, a dead monkey has been delivered to the doctors. As it turns out, this monkey was from an abandoned game reserve where a zombie plague broke out. Then the monkey springs to life and zombifies the majority of the animals at the zoo. The people inside are dead meat for the carnivores and herbivores alike.
Notable Kills: The entire monkey rampage with the doctors, everything involving the giraffes, an eagle making its nest in a barely alive corpse, meerkats bursting through people.
Final Fate: Eventually, all of the zoo is blown to kingdom come in order to make sure the zoombies die and the plague spreads no further. Then again, a gorilla named Kifo was seen to be still alive...
Powers/Abilities: Greater resiliance to pain.
Weakness: Headshots, the fact that the plague cannot infect humans.
Scariness Factor: 2-Sure, the diversity of animals is daunting, and seeing meerkats and giraffes ripping people apart is jarring, but that's about it. The rest is hampered by a frankly ridiculous premise, horrible CGI, and occasionally just plain abominable practical effects. It just goes to show that this was probably made with terror as an afterthought...most of the time anyways.
Trivia: -That administration building? The very same from 1996's cinematic abomination "Bio-Dome". It seems that utter Hell, be it Pauly Shore or monster animals, is a constant over there.
-If you can believe it, this was meant to be some kind of fan-sequel to "Jurassic Park", right down to one of the characters being the granddaughter to John Hammond. Yeah...absolutely not.
